3) COOKIES

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (“session cookies”). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process specific user information such as browser and location data as well as IP address values according to the individual requirements. Please note that you can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and you can decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally. 5) WEB ANALYSIS SERVICES
Google (Universal) Analytics

– Google Universal Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”, which ensures the anonymisation of the IP address by shortening it and excludes the possibility of a direct personal reference. As a result of the extension, your IP address will be shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to analyse your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You can prevent cookies from being stored using the corresponding settings in your browser software; however, please note that this means you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website in full. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of this website (including your IP address) from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

As an alternative to the browser plug-in or for browsers on mobile devices, please click the following link in order to set an opt-out cookie that disables Google Analytics from collecting data on this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only functions for this browser and this domain. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again): Disable Google Analytics

Google LLC, USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows, which is conducted using a user ID. The first time a page is accessed, the user is assigned a unique, permanent and anonymous ID, which is set across all devices. This makes it possible to assign interaction data from different devices and from different sessions to a single user. The user ID does not contain any personal data and does not transmit such data to Google.

The collection and storage of data via the user ID can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. To do this, you must disable Google Analytics on all systems that you use, e.g. in another browser or on your mobile device. You can do this using a browser plug-in from Google (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

6) TOOLS AND OTHER SERVICES
6.1 Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps (API), which is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (country) maps in order to display geographical information visually. Using this service shows you our location and makes it easier for you to find us.

Information (such as your IP address) about your use of our website is already transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there when you access the sub-pages containing the Google Maps map. This is the case regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in with or whether no such account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish the data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google saves your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interests of Google in the insertion of personalised advertising, market research and/or the demand-oriented design of its websites. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. You must contact Google to exercise this right.

Google LLC, USA, uses the applicable standard contractual clauses that guarantee compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU as well as the applicable adequacy decisions. These can be found on the following page: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?hl=en.

If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of using Google Maps, you may also completely disable the Google Maps web service by switching off the JavaScript application in your browser. In this case, Google Maps as well as the map display on this website cannot be used.

The Google terms of use can be found at https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en. The additional terms of use can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/en-US_US/help/terms_maps.html. You can find detailed information on data protection in connection with the use of Google Maps on Google’s website (“Google Privacy Policy”) at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6.2
 Google Web Fonts

This website uses web fonts provided by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”) to ensure the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

To do this, your browser must connect to Google’s servers. As a result, Google is informed that our website has been accessed from your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts ensures the consistent and attractive presentation of our online content. This constitutes a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts, your computer will use a standard font.

Google LLC, USA, uses the applicable standard contractual clauses that guarantee compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU as well as the applicable adequacy decisions. These can be found on the following page: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks?hl=en.

You can find additional information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

7) RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

7.1 The applicable data protection law grants you the following comprehensive rights of data subjects (rights of information and intervention) vis-à-vis the data controller with regard to the processing of your personal data:

  • Right of information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR: In particular, you shall have the right to receive information on your personal data processed by us; the purposes of such processing; the categories of personal data processed; the recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed; the planned storage period or the criteria used to determine that period; the existence of the right to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection to such processing; the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the origin of your data if it was not collected from you by us; the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and any meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and intended consequences of such processing for the data subject; and the right to be informed of which safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR are applied when your data is transmitted to a third country;
  • Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR: You have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate data concerning you and/or the completion of incomplete data concerning you that is stored by us;
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR: You have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of your personal data if the conditions set out in Art. 17 (1) GDPR are fulfilled. In particular, however, this right will not apply if processing is required for exercising the freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  • Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to obtain from the controller the restriction of processing your personal data as long as the accuracy of your personal data contested by you is verified; if you oppose the erasure of your personal data because of unlawful processing and request the restriction of its use instead; if you require the personal data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; once we no longer need the data for the purposes of processing; or if you have objected to processing on grounds relating to your personal situation pending the verification of whether our legitimate grounds override your grounds;
  • Right to be informed pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR: If you have asserted your right of rectification, erasure or restriction of processing to the controller, he/she is obliged to notify all of the recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed of the correction or erasure of the data or restriction of processing, unless this proves to be impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients;
  • Right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR: You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another controller where this is technically feasible;
  • Right to withdraw consent given pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR: You have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future. In the event of withdrawal, we will immediately erase the data concerned unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
  • Right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR: Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR.

7.2  RIGHT TO OBJECT

If, within the framework of a consideration of interests, we process your personal data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest, you have the right at any time to object to this processing on the basis of Art. 6 (1) e or f GDPR with effect for the future on the grounds that arise from your particular situation.

If you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, we will stop processing the data concerned. However, we reserve the right to further processing if we can demonstrate compulsory and legitimate reasons for processing that outweigh your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms, or if the processing is required to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of the data concerning you that is used for direct marketing purposes. You may exercise this objection as described above.

If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned for direct marketing purposes.

8) DURATION OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

The duration of the storage of personal data is based on the respective legal retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law). The corresponding data will be routinely deleted after expiry of this period if it is no longer necessary for the fulfilment or initiation of the contract and/or if we no longer have a legitimate interest in its continued storage.
